Biography

I am currently a Ph.D. student in CS at National University of Singapore, advised by Dr Diptarka Chakraborty. My interests are broadly in Theoretical Computer Science, though I especially like combinatorial optimization problems and designing Approximation Algorithms. My current research often involves algorithmic fairness, where I look at applications of algorithms where fairness is a significant concern.

I have also been teaching as a full time teaching assistant during my PhD studies, and continuing on from teaching part-time as an undergraduate TA. I enjoy teaching a range of topics and doing my best to pass on my CS knowledge.

Previously, I obtained my Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science (with Honours) from National University of Singapore in May 2020. Thereafter, I spent around 6 months as a research assistant under Dr Roger Zimmermann before starting my PhD studies.
